AZERBAIJAN VISA INFORMATION

Visa Requirements

To obtain a visa for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan the following documents must be submitted to the Consular section of the Embassy:

Requested documents:

An invitation from Azerbaijan. (Invitation should be sent through Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan).

For business, education and humanitarian visas: if an invitation from a receiving party or partner is not sent through Consular Department of the MFA, travelers should submit an invitation received by fax directly from a receiving party in Azerbaijan and a letter of request from the employer.

For tourist visas: confirmation from receiving tourist organization in Azerbaijan or from a hotel is required. Tourist visa is valid for exact dates of hotel accommodations purchased in advance.

For visitor visas: if invitation from the citizen of Azerbaijan is not sent through Consular Department of the MFA, the applicant has to state exact address and phone number of inviting party in the application form and to enclose it a copy of Azerbaijan citizen’s identity document.

Visa application files have to be forwarded to the Embassy in Islamabad through FedEx Visa Drop Box facilities. Applications can only be lodged on appointment at the Visa Section of the Embassy

BRAZIL VISA INFORMATION

REQUIREMENTS FOR BUSINESS VISAS

1. Documents to be presented:

single visa application form, dated and signed by applicant;
passport-size photo pasted (not stapled, please) onto form;
copy of passport on A4-size paper (please do not cut down to size);
letter from current employer/business containing applicant’s designation and salary, as well as detailed purpose and goal of trip;
letter of invitation (*);
document from fiscal authorities showing applicant to be taxpayer in Pakistan;
international credit card in name of applicant;
confirmed reservations for a Pakistan/Brazil/Pakistan round-trip ticket.
copy of NIC is not required.

(*) Letter of invitation must be written on Brazilian company stationery, and contain:

CNPJ/MF registration stamp;
name of host and position in company;
detailed (as much as possible) purpose of applicant’s trip to Brazil;
public notarization.

Note: The letter of invitation by itself is not a guarantee that the visa will be issued; it is just part of the required documents and will be examined along with them.

2.Interview

All applicants will be interviewed by the Vice Consul in Islamabad or by the Honorary Consuls in

Karachi [(021) 455-0217]

Lahore [(042) 735-8777] or

Peshawar [(091) 584-1373], as a first step in the application process.

3. Fees

A processing fee of US$25.00 (twenty-five US dollars) must be paid on presentation of application, in US cash. Such fee is non-refundable.
Rs. 600/- courier charges (Paid to the consulate)
US$60 (visa fee) once visa is approved.

4. Applications are only examined and applicants interviewed if all required documents are attached. Only after that will request be sent to Brazil for approval of any particular visa.

5. Warning

The Embassy of Brazil warns all applicants that it is illegal to stay in Brazil beyond the validity of any and all visas, irrespective of their limits in number of days, as well as to change visa categories while in Brazil . The Brazilian Government therefore reserves itself the right to act sternly regarding any applicant who decides to remain past visa limits and succeeds in shifting it to that of a permanent resident; their permanent residence visas may be cancelled at any given moment and without prior notice; the offender will then be placed in the custody of Immigration Authorites and made to leave the country immediately, as well as permanently.

sent directly to Embassy of Brazil in Islamabad (the original).

PROCESS OF VISA

Once the above requirements have been met, applicant shall be subject to a personal interview, which is an integral part of the visa consideration process.
After the interview (at Karachi, if application has been submitted at Karachi) the application shall be sent to the Brazilian Embassy at Islamabad that may consult the Ministry of External Relations in Brasilia, Brazil, prior to issuance of visa.

Note:

All visa applications are submitted to Brazil for approval and are analyzed one by one, in the authorities’ own time frame. Cases cannot be rushed. Applicants are requested not to call either the Embassy or the Honorary Consulates about the status of any visa: when approval is given, the interested parties will be contacted directly and requested to present their passports.

GENERAL VISA REQUIREMENTS

Important notice:

UAE VISA INFORMATION

General Information

Information concerning visa requirements for those wishing to travel to the UAE has been listed below, however visa reulations and costs are subject to change and should always be checked with you travel agent or nearest UAE embassy before travelling (see Useful Addresses for contact details). Do not overstay your visa as this wll result in detention and fines.

VISAS

VISIT VISA UPDATE 31/03/03

The Cabinet has decided to reduce the visit visa period for citizens of 33 countries who are allowed to enter the UAE without a prior visa to one month non-renewable instead of three months. The Cabinet also decided to impose a charge of Dhs100 per visa to be collected on entry to the UAE through land, seaport and airport entry points.

The decision includes citizens from France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus, Finland, Malta, Spain, Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Visit Visa

Citizens of the UK (with right of abode in the UK) will be granted a free of charge visit visa on arrival in the UAE: Passports will be stamped with the visit visa as you pass through Immigration at any airport in the UAE. Although the visa may be stamped for 30 days, it entitles the holder to stay in the country for 60 days and may be renewed once for an additional period of 30 days for a fee of Dh500.

Except for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council who do not require a visa and nationalities automatically entitled to visit visas on entry, all other visitors who wish to stay longer than 14 days in the UAE (see Entry Service Permit below) must obtain a visit visa in advance through a sponsor. The sponsor can be your travel agency, your hotel, the company or department with which you are doing business in the UAE, or an individual (eg. a relative or friend resident in the UAE).

You can pick up this visit visa on arrival at the airport, but there is a fee of Dh100 plus a Dh10 delivery charge for this service. In order to complete your application, your sponsor will require your date of arrival, flight details, and a photocopy of the first few pages of your passport, which should be valid for at least three months.

A hotel will only provide a visa if you are a guest. For an individual to sponsor a visit visa, he or she must earn over Dh4000 per month and hold a valid residence visa. Your visit visa must be deposited at airport immigration one hour before the arrival of your flight. Note that your airline may require evidence (e.g. a photocopy) before departure that a valid visa awaits you on arrival.

Please note that holders of British Overseas Citizens Passport who do not have the right of abode in the UK do need visas to enter the UAE.

Tourist Visa

This special category of visit visa is available for individual tourists from East and West Europe who are not entitled to be issued with a visa on arrival, as well as visitors from Thailand, South Africa and China. The tourist visa, which must be sponsored by hotels and tour operators, entitles its holder to a 30-day stay and is non-renewable. The fee is Dh100, with an additional Dh10 for delivery.

Entry Service Permit

An entry service permit (sometimes referred to as a 14-day stay) is available to businessmen and tourists. The permit must be sponsored by a company or commercial establishment or a hotel licensed to operate within the UAE. The visa, which is non-renewable, is valid for 14 days from the date of issue and the duration of stay is 14 days from date of entry, exclusive of arrival and departure days. There is a fee of Dh120 plus Dh10 delivery charge for obtaining an entry service permit. Allow at least two weeks for processing of the permit.

Transit Visa

If you are flying to or from Europe or the United States, to Asia or Africa and passing through UAE airports, you can obtain a special 96-hour transit visa. You must be sponsored by an airline operating in the UAE and you must have a valid ticket for your onward flight. Your travel documents will be stamped with an entry seal and there is no charge for this visa

Multiple Entry Visa

An option for business visitors who are frequent visitors to the UAE and who have a relationship with a reputable company in the UAE. Valid for six months from date of issue, each visit must not exceed 30 days in total. This visa costs Dh1000. The visitor must enter the UAE on a visit visa and obtain the multiple entry visa while in the country.

German citizens (both tourists and business visitors) may apply to the UAE embassy in Germany for one or two year multiple-entry visa. No sponsor is required. The maximum duration of stay should not exceed three months a year. The visa fee is Dh1500.

US citizens may apply to the UAE embassy in the US for one to ten year multiple-entry visas. A sponsor is required and the visa will be granted free of charge. The maximum duration of stay should not exceed six months per visit.

Please note:

Processing time is of minimum 10 weekdays

All applicants have to appear personally, except frequent travellers for the last two (2) years.

Companies should send their employees in a group to apply for the visa.

Only complete applications are to be accepted.

The Consulate might ask for additional documents if found necessary.

Visa applications can be submitted weeks ahead. Dates of validity on the visa sticker will be

according to the dates as per application, reservations and travel health insurance.

Long-term visas can be issued only in exceptional cases.

Spouses accompanying their partners on a business trip/ to a fair have to fulfill the requirements as for a tourist.

Original passports can be withdrawn after submission of application for travels (except Schengen

States) during the processing time.

No other charges except the visa fee are applicable. This requirement sheet is free of charge!!!!

Opening hours of the Visa section are: 8.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. for submission of applications

(Mondays-Fridays); 12.00 p.m. to 13.00 p.m. for collection of passports (all working days).

NOTE:

Karachi Consulate accepts applications if you have traveled to any Schengen state during the past 10 years, though personal appearance is a must. (Honorary Consulate of the Netherlands Opp. Beach Luxury Hotel).
-After the verification from the Embassy they will send your application to Islamabad with an empty envelope (it's compulsory for the submission).

Applications for first time travellers to Netherlands will be processed from Islamabad:

VISITOR VISA APPLICATION CHECKLIST

A guide for applicants

It is important that you provide all the relevant information requested below so we can accept and process your application promptly. If any of the following are not received, the application may not be accepted for assessment.

All documents not in English must be translated by a translation service. A Translation Service may NOT certify documents as original.

Application forms can be downloaded and other relevant information may be found on our website www.immigration.govt.nz.

APPLICATION FORM

An “Application for Visiting New Zealand” must be fully completed in English. Answer each question on the form and continue that question on a separate sheet if necessary. A couple and their dependent children 19 years of age and under may be included on the same application form.

APPLICATION FEE

The application fee is a processing fee and is NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of the outcome of your visa application. You have a choice of paying either in Thai Baht or in US Dollars. The details for each are given below:

The current application fee is THB 3,300 Thai Baht. The fee can be paid by bank draft or by cashier cheque when you apply in person. Bank Drafts should be made payable to “New Zealand Immigration Service”.

The current application fee in US dollars is US$115.00 (including bank clearance fees). Please note the fee must be paid by bank draft in US dollars only, drawn from a US bank, made payable to the “New Zealand Immigration Service”.

We also accept Visa and MasterCard. Cash is NOT accepted by this office.

PHOTO

One recent passport sized photo (must be less than 6 months old) of each person included in the application.

PASSPORT OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Passports must be valid for 3 months beyond intended date of departure from New Zealand. We will accept the application with a certified copy of the bio-data page of the passport but we will require the actual passport for 24 hours before a visa is issued.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT WHILE VISITING NEW ZEALAND

EITHER

Evidence of funds to support yourself which must be a minimum of NZ$1,000.00 per month of stay. This can be in the form of bank records, cash, traveller’s cheques or credit card statements.

A “Sponsorship Form” (NZIS1025) completed by a New Zealand citizen or resident along with evidence of their ability to support you while you are in New Zealand.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORTING INFORMATION

If travelling on business or attending a conference, evidence of business contacts in New Zealand such as invitations or correspondence with New Zealand business parties are required. This information is not required if you have travelled previously to New Zealand on business.

To enable us to make an informed decision, please provide any additional information which proves you will be a genuine short-term visitor to New Zealand, and shows you have incentive to return to your home country after visiting New Zealand such as

A letter of leave from your employer or school. Letters from an employer should include annual income (including bonus), length of employment and position held. Also, it must be on company letterhead, bearing the stamp of the company and the signature of the head of the company or the responsible person of the personnel department. If you are self-employed, business or company registration certificate showing proof of ownership and company bank statements must be submitted.

Evidence of any previous travel i.e. clear copy of visas on passport.

Your travel/flight bookings/itinerary/tickets if available

Children under the age of 16 years travelling alone or with only 1 parent must provide a written letter of consent from both parents which include the parents contact details and identification.

X-RAY FOR TUBERCULOSIS SCREENING

Applicants for temporary entry to New Zealand must have an acceptable standard of health

All applicants from a high incidence TB country, intending to be in New Zealand for more than 6 months must undergo a TB screening and provide a Chest X-ray certificate (NZIS1096) completed by an approved INZ Panel Doctor. Please check our website for a list of high incidence TB countries and to find the Panel Doctor nearest to you.

People who have spent a combined total of 3 months or more (in the five years before the application) in any high incidence TB country will also need to be tested for TB.

Pregnant women and children below the age of 11 years are not required to have a chest x-ray.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

FULL MEDICAL: Applicants intending to spend more than 12 months in New Zealand are required to supply a full medical certificate (NZIS1007). Pregnant women and children below the age of 11 years are not required to have a chest x-ray.

POLICE CLEARANCES: Applicants over 17 years intending to remain in New Zealand for more than 24 months are required to supply a police clearance certificate from their country of residence and any country the applicant has been in for five years or more since turning 17.

Most applications are finalised within 7 days. If this is unable to be done you will be contacted and advised of the processing time. Some applications can take up to 30 days.
ENDORESMENT OF YOUR VISA IF YOU DO NOT RESIDE IN BANGKOK
THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS:
Travel to Bangkok for the endorsement of your Visitor’s Visa in your passport after obtaining confirmation from this office that your application has been approved. If you choose this option, you will only be required to submit certified true copies of your passport together with your application. Please allow one working day for the endorsement of your visa. OR
Submit your original passport with your application and include a courier fee for the return of your passport. The courier fee payable will depend on your country of residence as listed below:
